Sixty supporters of Proposition 103, the “Voter Revolt” insurance initiative, demonstrated in front of the Eastside office of Assemblyman Richard Polanco, author of a competing initiative, Proposition 101. They chanted that Polanco has “sold out” to an insurance company that has made major contributions to his plan to lower bodily injury liability premiums by 50% in exchange for smaller damage payments to accident victims.
