Man Admits Detonating Dozens of Pipe Bombs

BOSTON — A carpenter who confessed to officials that he had made and detonated dozens of pipe bombs in New Hampshire and Massachusetts was being held without bail Wednesday as authorities continued their investigation of the bombings.
Jonathan E. Tefft, 24, of Framingham, was arrested Tuesday and charged in a series of explosions involving pipe bombs planted last week in the Boston suburbs of Needham and Framingham.
