The latest “Last Temptation” battlefront news: The barbs and charges between Universal/MCA Inc. and movie opponent Donald Wildmon continued flying Monday. MCA president Sidney Sheinberg issued a statement strongly denying he or any MCA official said “Christians won’t stop us from distributing this movie,” as quoted by Wildmon last week. The company also denied the charge made last week by Wildmon, a Methodist minister, that the movie is “biased against Christians.”
