Between 10,000 and 15,000 pilgrims cried, pointed to the sky and screamed “see her, see her” at an evening Mass celebrated outside a Roman Catholic church in Lubbock, Tex., where three congregants said they have received more than two dozen “messages” from the Virgin Mary. “I saw the sun pulsating a lot and saw Jesus about 10 times,” said Mamie Fertitta. “Then I saw Jesus above and the doves below.” The Mass celebrated outside St. John Neumann Catholic Church on the annual feast of the ascension of the Virgin Mary into heaven had to be interrupted at least three times as celebrants began crying and screaming that they saw images of Mary and Jesus.
