International Festival

The International Music and Dance Festival given Aug. 27 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center was greatly enjoyed by me and all who attended.
I have taught ethnic dance and have been a member of Dance Masters of America since 1934. As director of the Ruth St. Denis studio in Hollywood for 22 years, I have taught many people who appreciated the dances of many lands.
The excellent performance on Aug. 27 showed the result of joy of dancing and many, many hours of rehearsals. A group of non-professionals entertained very well; (it was) an evening to be remembered with joy. The costumes were authentic and beautiful.
