Occidental Soccer Team Wins SCIAC Opener, 1-0

Jay Caba’s breakaway goal at the 17-minute mark gave Occidental College a 1-0 victory over Pomona-Pitzer in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference soccer opener Wednesday at Occidental.
Occidental, the seven-time defending SCIAC champion, is 2-4. Pomona is 1-5.
