The University of Colorado will play Brigham Young in the Freedom Bowl Dec. 29 at Anaheim, according to a newspaper report.
Although official bowl invitations cannot be extended until Saturday, the Rocky Mountain News reported the teams have accepted bids.
A Gator Bowl official said Bill Marolt, Colorado athletic director, turned down an invitation to the Gator Bowl Sunday because the school was committed to the Freedom Bowl.
