David E. Brady (Viewers’ Views, Nov. 13) was completely out of line with his comments about the “Superboy” series. It modernizes the “Superboy” saga, showing him as a college reporter and offering us a different aspect of the Superboy/Superman legend. The special effects are neither pathetic nor laughable. On the contrary, they are very well done, especially under such a limited budget. And the series is in no way campy like “Batman” or melodramatic, as was “The Incredible Hulk.”
