TOURISM / LEISURE TIME : Anaheim Draws 1,400 Members of Convention Management Assn.

About 1,400 members of the Professional Convention Management Assn. just ended their 33rd annual meeting in Anaheim.
The 4-day convention, which ended Tuesday, is made up of meeting planners in the fields of health, science, education and engineering. According to Bill Snyder, president of the Anaheim Area Visitor & Convention Bureau, “45% of Anaheim’s convention and trade show business falls in these categories.”
Those who attended the convention represent 12,000 meetings annually and their collective meeting attendance is 1.5 million.
