Chemical Plant Safety Challenged

I would like to address the issue of the chemical storage facility to be built in the City of Industry.
It seems that the City of Industry is not concerned with the health, safety and welfare of the surrounding cities. Industry is obligated to support only its industry.
To the best of my knowledge, all that has been filed is a negative declaration of potential impacts with the city. I demand that the city of Walnut request a full environmental impact report from Industry.
It is inconceivable that a project of this type could proceed without such a study being done due to the proximity of residential areas like Walnut, Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights and West Covina.
I feel that we must unite together as a community to stop this plant.
