Center West to Open After 12-Year Struggle

After 12 years of battle and building, Center West will open in August.
The 22-story, $40-million office building at 10877 Wilshire Blvd. was begun in December, 1977, by developer Kambiz Hekmat of Westwood but work was slowed by neighborhood protests. The building was originally designed for 25 stories.
