Judy Davis Set to Star in ‘Hapgood’ at Doolittle

Australian actress Judy Davis has been set to star in the American premiere of Tom Stoppard’s “Hapgood,” an Ahmanson production to be presented at the Doolittle, April 12-July 9.
Davis, who received a 1984 Academy Award nomination (Best Actress) for her role in David Lean’s “A Passage to India,” received a British Academy Award as best actress and best newcomer for her film debut in “My Brilliant Career” as well as numerous other awards from the Australian Film Institute and an Emmy for her portrayal of the young Golda Meir in “A Woman Called Golda.”
