A Richmond man was arrested on suspicion of murder and two counts of assault after shots he allegedly fired during a brawl wounded two bystanders and killed his friend, police said. Sacramento Police Lt. Kenneth Walker said Rodney Gibson, 24, blindly fired into a group of people who began fighting over how slowly some pedestrians were crossing a street in Old Sacramento. Kevin A. Chapman, 23, of Oakland died after one of the bullets struck him in the back. Damita Hilliard, 22, was grazed in the side by a bullet, and Adrian Lowery, 21, was hit in the chest.
