Ronald L. Ziff, 52, said he is resigning in early March as executive vice president and general manager of the five-store Westward Ho grocery chain. Ziff’s grandfather, Henry Hersh, founded the chain in 1949 in Westwood. Ziff, who plans to buy and operate one or two grocery stores as an independent, said no replacement has been named.
