CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Discovery’s astronauts today enjoyed the first home delivery in space of an American newspaper.
A facsimile machine flying in orbit for the first time was used to send Discovery a copy of the front page of The Roundup, an employee weekly at Johnson Space Center. And it was delivered in space before it was delivered on the ground.
