Construction has started on parking that will provide 1,057 spaces in San Diego’s Uptown District, a $70-million, mixed-use project in Hillcrest to be built by Oliver McMillan and Odmark & Thelan.
Uptown District was designed by SGPA Planning & Architecture and Architects Lorimer-Case and will include 140,000 square feet of commercial space and 318 residential units.
The project will occupy 14 acres on Cleveland, Washington and University avenues, the site of a former Hillcrest Sears store.
