Northridge Men Fall in Volleyball Final

Despite 43 kills by senior middle blocker Bob Samuelson, Cal State Northridge was defeated by Indiana-Purdue-Ft. Wayne, 13-15, 16-14, 15-7, 4-15, 15-7, in the final of the Ball State men’s volleyball tournament at Muncie, Ind., on Saturday night.
Neil Coffman added 25 kills for Northridge (10-19), which plays host to top-ranked UCLA on Monday night. Coffman and Samuelson were named to the all-tournament team. IPFW is 21-7.
