Earnest Riggins will not return this season as women’s basketball coach for San Diego State University, Athletic Director Fred Miller said.
Riggins, 52, who compiled a 118-67 record in six years, said he was contacted two weeks ago about his possible dismissal, but that SDSU athletic department officials still have not given him a reason.
