Soviets Fight Rig Fire

MOSCOW — Soviet fireboats have been trying for four days to put out a fire on a Caspian Sea oil platform, which was rocked by a series of explosions, Pravda reported Friday.
A fireboat rescued all 24 workers aboard the deep-water platform, the newspaper said.
