Man Shot on Steps of Girlfriend’s Home

A young man was found shot to death on the front steps of his girlfriend’s Diamond Bar home, sheriff’s deputies said Thursday.
David Fong, 19, of San Dimas had been shot once in the chest when a member of his girlfriend’s family found his body about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday lying in front of the house in the 1000 block of Farrel Avenue, Deputy Roger Hom said.
Fong was at the house to visit his girlfriend, whose name was not released.
Hom did not know whether the victim was arriving at the house or leaving when he was attacked.
No motive was known for the slaying and no arrests had been made.
