The Century 21 real estate franchise system has been expanded to Mexico with establishment of Mexico City-based Asesores Mexicanos de Inmuebles as master franchiser.
Franquicias Inmobiliarias de Mexico S.A. de C.V., a Mexican corporation, owns 51% of the new master franchise, and Philip and William Yeager, principals of two U.S. master franchises, and Duane Christie, a former Century 21 franchisee, own the remaining 49%. Mexican law requires that 51% of a business be owned by Mexican citizens.
The Yeagers own Century 21 Region V Inc., which includes 170 franchisees in the San Gabriel Valley and Riverside County. They also own Century 21 of the Northwest, which includes 165 franchisees in Washington, Oregon and Western Idaho.
Principal owner of Franquicias Inmobiliarias de Mexico is Bo Wallsten, a citizen of Mexico and owner of Wallsten & Associates, one of the largest real estate organizations in Mexico.
