$1 Billion in Aircraft Orders: International Lease Finance Corp. announced that it has placed 20 of its aircraft worth $1 billion with nine foreign carriers. ILFC, which buys aircraft and then leases them to airlines, made the announcement in conjunction with the Paris Air Show. The placements will begin next year. The nine airlines operate in the Pacific, Latin America, the United Kingdom and Europe.
