Kraft Offers New Prizes: Kraft USA said it will offer cash awards and special drawings to consumers who submit winning game pieces in the defective “Ready to Roll” sweepstakes, but some holding winning coupons called the offer inadequate. Earlier in the week, Kraft announced that it was declaring its promotion null and void because, as a result of a printing error, nearly every game piece was a winner. Many winners thought they had won $17,000 vans. The decision to void the contest produced two class-action lawsuits in Cook County Chancery Court.
