Willey’s Slam Leads Huntington Beach, 8-4

Mike Willey hit a grand slam to lead the Huntington Beach Rustlers to an 8-4 victory over the Long Beach 49ers in a Metro League baseball game at Hart Park in Orange Wednesday night.
Willey, who attended Rancho Alamitos High School and now plays for Golden West College, homered in the fourth inning to give the Rustlers (3-0) a 7-1 lead. Frank Herman hit a two-run home run in the third for the host Rustlers.
