A fire caused $300,000 in damage Thursday to an apartment building under construction in Burbank, the Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported in the 4:30 p.m. blaze in the 500 block of East San Jose Avenue, Administrative Battalion Chief Mike Davis said. The fire also caused minor damage to several neighboring apartment buildings, Davis said.
The cause of the blaze, which started on the west end of the second floor, was not immediately known, Davis said. Forty firefighters from 10 engine companies put out the fire in about 25 minutes, he said.
