Fresno developer Jerry Harris has been sentenced to two years in federal prison after being convicted of accepting a $5,000 bribe in an FBI sting operation that also involved former Mendota Mayor Alex Valdez. Harris, 37, and Valdez, 40, were convicted in April of extortion, conspiracy and accepting a bribe.
