Legalizing Voluntary Prayers in Schools
Rep. William E. Dannemeyer’s Community Life Amendment and his statement that “God should have a reserved seat in the nation’s public schools” deserve full support of God-fearing citizens. This amendment would legalize voluntary school prayer and instruction in the Judeo-Christian ethic, including the Ten Commandments and the Bible’s version of Creation.
At the same time, our American flag should be returned to its reserved place of honor and respect in our churches. For the past several years, the flags have been removed surreptitiously from our churches by disciples of Marxist liberation theology.
Our country was established and made great on the foundation of these basic Judeo-Christian principles. It is time for this country to get back to these basics.
