Housing Group Plans Conference

The newly formed Southern California Assn. of Non-Profit Housing will hold its first conference Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hotel Queen Mary, Long Beach.
Titled “Non-Profit Housing Development: New Resources for the 1990s,” the conference will focus on new state and federal housing initiatives, nonprofit tax-exempt bonds and redevelopment funds.
Speakers will include Barry Zigas, president of the National Low-Income Housing Coalition; Don Mullane, executive vice president, Bank of America; Hugh Loftus, vice president of Security Pacific Bank; John Tuite, administrator of the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency; Ann Sewill, executive director of the Los Angeles Community Design Center, and other presidents of local nonprofit development corporations.
Registration is $25 for representatives of nonprofit housing agencies, $30 for others.
