Defending champion Yugoslavia won the FINA World Cup water polo tournament in West Berlin with a 10-6 victory over Italy.
Hungary edged Spain, 8-7, for third place. In other final-day matches, West Germany defeated the Soviet Union, 10-8, and Australia defeated the United States, 9-8, in overtime.
