Cardinal Krol Ailing : Retired Cardinal Krol Hospitalized for Tests

PHILADELPHIA — Retired Cardinal John Krol, 78, was in serious condition at a hospital today and undergoing medical tests a day after he complained of feeling faint while playing golf. Initial reports said he suffered a stroke, but a St. Agnes Hospital spokesman said today that doctors were uncertain what happened.
