Western Digital Corp., the Irvine computer company, said that Computerland Corp. has selected it as a supplier of local area network products.
Western Digital said the products included in the agreement are its EtherCard PLUS and TokenCard products.
Local area networks are used to link together computers, printers and other electronic office equipment within an office building.
Western Digital said the products will be sold in conjunction with Computerland’s Network Edge program. Western Digital’s products will be sold in a package with related network products made by Compaq Computer Corp. and Novell Inc. and offered at a discount to Computerland customers.
A Western Digital spokeswoman said the company had no estimate on how the agreement would affect its revenue.
