MIG Overshoots Runway

HELSINKI, Finland — A Soviet MIG-29 fighter overshot the runway at a Finnish air show, but the pilot stopped the plane safely and was unhurt, a Finnish general staff spokesman said Thursday. He said it appeared the jet’s braking parachute opened but broke off.
