The car stereo of car stereos will be on view this weekend at the Long Beach Jazz Festival. Check this out: It features a $2,000, 10-disc magazine CD player installed as part of a $15,000 sound system in a white-and-silver Mercedes 300CE coupe. The Sony CDX-A2001/RM-X2001 Discjockey system claims sound quality and features similar to those found in top home systems. In-car demonstrations with 10 speakers, 960 watts of power and a $5,000 DAT player will run during show hours at Rainbow Lagoon Park, 5-11 p.m. today, noon-11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
