Commercial Scene : Fall Completion Slated in Industrial Complex

An October completion is planned for five industrial buildings in the $150-million, 190-acre Empire Business Center, according to a spokesman for Mira Loma Ventures, developer of the industrial park in Mira Loma, near Riverside.
Birtcher Construction, Laguna Niguel, was awarded the $4-million contract to construct the buildings which range in size from 23,328 to 61,536 square feet. The architect is Hill-Pinckert Architects, Irvine.
Bordered by Philadelphia Street and Etiwanda Avenue in northwestern tip of Riverside County near Ontario International Airport, Empire Business Center consists of 76 lots from 1 to 10 acres, according to Martin Dowd of Mira Loma Ventures.
The first phase has 34 lots ranging in size from 0.8 to 8 acres, according to Bary Blum and Tim D’Angelo of Grubb & Ellis, Ontario and Riverside, the sales and leasing agents.
