Alien Dies Trying to Cross Interstate 5

An unidentified pedestrian was killed while attempting to cross the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Camp Pendleton, the coroner’s office reported Tuesday.
The victim, one of a group of illegal aliens who were crossing the freeway, was struck by a car about 9:20 p.m. Monday about 3 miles north of Las Pulgas Road, authorities said.
