Local : Bartender Hurt in Glendale Shooting

A bartender standing outside a Glendale nightclub was seriously injured in a drive-by shooting early today, authorities said.
The victim, whose age and identity were not released, was standing in front of the Carnivale Bar and restaurant in the 200 block of North Glendale Avenue when he was shot at 3:13 a.m., police said.
Co-workers were standing outside the nightclub but were not injured when several shots were fired from a passing car. The victim was taken to Glendale Adventist Medical Center, where he was undergoing surgery. Police would not say where he was wounded.
No arrests have been made and the motive was unknown.
