Pleas Entered in Soybean Case: Two soybean traders and a clerk pleaded guilty to charges of improper trading practices, while 12 others pleaded innocent in the government’s probe of alleged fraud at the world’s largest futures exchanges. All those who appeared before U.S. District Judge William Hart in Chicago were involved in soybean trading activity at the Chicago Board of Trade during a 2 1/2-year undercover probe by FBI agents masquerading as traders. The three who pleaded guilty were freed on bond and have agreed to cooperate with the government in the remaining cases.
