Wyle Laboratories: The El Segundo marketer of high-tech electronic components and computer systems said second-quarter profit fell 28.3% from a year ago to $1.5 million. Revenue totaled $101.1 million, down 2.5%. The company blamed the lower earnings figure on strategic investments, particularly an expansion into key Eastern markets.
