Private funeral services were held for August A. Busch Jr. and a memorial mass will be offered at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Saint Louis Cathedral, a spokesman said.
The private services were held at the Busch family estate called Grant’s Farm.
“Our father loved St. Louis and he loved the people who live here,” said his son, August A. Busch III, chairman of the board and president of Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc. “We hope this mass will be a fitting memorial to a relationship that meant so much to him throughout his entire life.”
The public is invited to attend Tuesday’s memorial mass. Reserved seating will be provided for Anheuser-Busch employees and retirees.
