Sandy Hawley rode Canadian horse Domasca Dan to a three-length victory in the $118,200 Jamaica Handicap for 3-year-olds at Belmont Park in New York.
The colt had finished third in Woodbine’s Molson Million in his previous start Sept. 10. He dueled with Is It True to midstretch, then drew away.
Garemma, with Eddie Maple aboard, closed well on the rail to finish second, a neck ahead of Is It True.
