COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titans Beat San Diego in Women’s Volleyball

Senior Susan Herman had 14 kills to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 15-11, 15-12, 15-11 victory over the University of San Diego in a nonconference women’s volleyball match Wednesday at Fullerton.
Sabrina Dennis, a junior transfer from Golden West, had five blocks and 14 digs for Fullerton, which improved to 7-13. San Diego dropped to 1-19.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
Chapman 1, Azusa Pacific 0--Visiting Chapman (6-9-2) got its goal from Stephanie Brown, who scored 26 minutes into the first half on a corner kick assist from Shelley Williams.
It was the second consecutive shutout for goalie Carrie Masters, who beat Cal Lutheran, 1-0, Monday.
