Pierce Wins State Volleyball Berth

Pierce College defeated host Santa Barbara, 15-11, 15-12, 15-5, in a Western State Conference match Friday to clinch its first state volleyball playoff berth.
Pierce is 15-1, 14-1 in conference play with one regular-season game remaining.
