Connie Sieber Named Mayor

The Manhattan Beach City Council on Tuesday elected Councilwoman Connie Sieber mayor for a nine-month term. Sieber, who has served on the council since 1986, succeeded former Mayor Pat Collins.
The new mayor pro tem is Councilman Steve Barnes, who was elected to the council last year.
