From Times Staff and Wire Service Reports
A man and a woman fell about 150 feet to their deaths from a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean at San Pedro today, authorities said.
The two, who were not immediately identified, fell from the cliff at Point Fermin Park in the San Pedro area shortly before 11:30 a.m., said Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells.
“It was a male and female, both adults, in their 30s,” Wells said. He said it wasn’t immediately known what caused the two to go over the cliff. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
