Wedding’s Off, Says Roseanne: Actress Roseanne Barr, the acerbic working-class mom of prime-time television, has called off her January wedding, saying in a statement that her boyfriend Tom Arnold was in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation clinic. It was unclear whether a new date would be set or whether the couple has parted. The star of the top-rated ABC-TV sitcom “Roseanne” and the recently released motion picture “She-Devil,” said in an interview published in the Oct. 9 issue of People magazine that Arnold was previously treated at Van Nuys Hospital in May. In the interview, Barr said she had known Arnold for six years, and that as her husband’s “best buddy,” the trio had collaborated to write some of her comedy routines. Barr’s divorce from husband Bill Pentland is scheduled to be finalized Jan. 17.
