Journal of Commerce Editor, GM Swap Jobs

NEW YORK — The Journal of Commerce announced today its editor and general manager will trade jobs Jan. 1.
General Manager Robert L. Harris will replace Stanford Erickson, editor for the last three years, who will become general manager.
Don C. Becker, president and publisher of the paper, said the purpose of the move was “to further invigorate the organization while providing new challenges to some highly deserving individuals.” The Journal is owned by Knight-Ridder Inc.
