CINCINNATI — A pilot trying to hoist a banner to be towed over Riverfront Stadium during a game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Houston Oilers died when the small plane crashed Sunday, officials said.
The Cessna 182 had swooped back over Lunken Airport low enough to pick up the banner suspended between two poles, but then lost power and clipped the top of a helicopter on the ground, police officer Dan Katt said.
