Westendorf Hits Boards to Lead St. Margaret’s

Ryan Westendorf had 23 points and 24 rebounds to lead St. Margaret’s to a 71-31 victory over visiting Newport Christian in an Academy League boys’ basketball game Friday.
Westendorf, who averages 18 rebounds a game to lead the county, had lots of help from Dann Campaigne, who had 23 points and 13 rebounds. Trevor Durham added 16 points, including three three-pointers.
St. Margaret’s improved to 9-4, 2-0 in league play. Newport Christian is 4-6, 1-1.
