Spaghetti Dinner to Benefit La Mirada Meals on Wheels

LA MIRADA — The third annual spaghetti dinner to benefit Meals on Wheels, sponsored by the La Mirada Kiwanis Club, will be served from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday in the La Mirada High School multipurpose room, 13520 Adelfa Drive.

In addition to food there will be entertainment and prize drawings for a compact disc system and a week’s stay in a condominium in Kona, Hawaii. A dessert booth will be provided by members of the La Mirada Women’s Club and Ebell of La Mirada.

The dinner is a major fund-raiser for Meals on Wheels, a food service for people who are unable to provide for themselves. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4.50 for children under age 12 and senior citizens over 55, and free for children under 6. For reservations, call 943-0037.
