In the 4-A Division of the Canyon tournament:
Sunny Hills 1, Moreno Valley 0 (eight innings)--Suzanne Hernandez doubled in Bernie Fancuberta with none out in the bottom of the eighth inning to advance Sunny Hills to the championship third round.
La Habra 5, Walnut 2--Stephanie Bakki had two hits, including a solo home run, for La Habra (5-2).
